I would have to guess that the director of “Wimbledon” has never been to Wimbledon, has never watched Wimbledon on TV and has, in fact, never watched a tennis match before. Everything about the game play and the tournament rang false (a semi-final on a small, outside court???) and the shots were just bizarrely set up. Kirsten Dunst was horribly miscast, but Paul Bettany was light and refreshing—and more importantly, believable as a tennis player.

For anyone who watched the Live 8 concerts and was moved by the call to end extreme poverty, you must find this movie on HBO and watch it. It puts yet another personal spin on the story and hopefully will inspire people around the world to stand up for this cause.

How does one label a CD that you’ve already listened to but are still listening to over and over again? Has it been “consumed” or am I still “consuming” it? I love Coldplay’s X&Y album and have listened to it many times and will listen to it many more times. I’m curious as to how others view the consumption of albums, which unlike books or movies, are consumed multiple times, not just once.
