WORTH CONSUMING!

Great read, good humor and an good story. I have to say though I imagine their disregard for the trail by disposing of numerous items along it would be frowned upon by many people who walk and maintain the trail.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is probably the most true to book movie I’ve ever seen, which was good cos I lost concerntration at the end of the book and this cleared what I though had happened up. It’s really not as bad as people say it is, actually it’s solid but not exceptional, I actually think Angels and Demons will make a better film.

A story about "Backpacker's Start-Up: A Beginner's Guide to Hiking & Backpacking (Start-Up Sports)" — 1 year ago

Personal bias is pretty evident especially for purchasing things from REI, you could find better info just surfing the net. Some fairly outdated info too.

An interesting more modern perspective.

This actually presents the facts much better than I expected and rebukes the claims the opponents often make. Even if global warming wasn’t real (you’d have to be a fool not to see it) we have nothing to lose in changing for the better anyway.

For the type of books Dan Brown writes he does it perfectly, for someone who supposedly can’t write he spins a damn good story and more imporantly, draws you into it.

Not as funny as I expected but still good, it’s a classic so you have to see it.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

One of the worst books I have ever read, I gave up reading it actually, truely shocking writing.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Bloody excellent. Anyone who thinks this was somehow easy show watch it and think again. The support crew wasn’t there to bail these guys out of tough situations, at the point they met up the roads were impassible for both the bikes and the support vehicles. I don’t think people understand that in many parts of the world tourist\travellers simply aren’t allowed to move about without a police escort and for these guys it would have been even more difficult to shrug it off because of their “fame”. This is a really great show for giving you a look at what the world is really like. We all think we live in a 21st centuary society, and we do, but the truth is so much of the rest of the world live in the 19th centuary. If you want a culture shock go to Mongolia or Kazakstan.

Why I recommend "Honeymoon with My Brother : A Memoir" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

A good story, there is a lot to learn from this book, including that there is a lot more you can learn from travelling. I found that no matter what the budget or style of travel everyone always thinks they are “real” travellers. Good to see that the author got out of politics because of this.
