WORTH CONSUMING!

I loved this movie! I enjoyed the music and I’m looking forward to listening to music by The Frames.

A review of "Tony Takitani" — 1 day ago

I liked the main character and I thought his story was interesting. Apart from that I thought the story was just ok. I was very excited when I heard there was a movie based on a short story by Murakami but I was disappointed with the movie.
I’d still like to read the story to compare.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I enjoyed Ishiguro’s writing in Never Let Me Go. I was impressed by his story-telling style. And I wanted to read ‘Remains of the Day’ after enjoying the movie.
I loved how Ishiguro develops Mr.Stevens character until the last chapter and draws a portrait through Steven’s own accounts of his service at Darlington hall. But I knew better than to assume that the story would be predictable. I think Steven’s character is interesting and complex and his opinions about dignity are thought-provoking. I loved the last few pages, they were heart breaking.
I’m looking forward to reading more of Ishiguro’s books.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I liked this book a lot. I enjoyed reading about writers I was not previously familiar with. The essays are short and full of interesting anecdotes.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I loved reading this book. It’s beautifully written. I couldn’t put it down. I enjoyed The Kite runner and I was really looking forward to reading Hosseini’s second book.
More than once I was moved to tears.
What kept coming back to me was, as much as this is fiction, this tale is based on real life incidents. And this is just one story, I can’t imagine the number of similar more tragic stories out there.
I found Mariam and Laila’s strength and friendship very inspiring.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This movie is completely over the top but it’s colourful, fun and silly. The costumes and sets are great and I liked the attention to detail. However the story was far-fetched, no suprise there! And too many songs and some way too long, but the music was good. It was worth watching just for Arjun Rampal who looks really hot in the movie. I was drooling the entire time.

I’m reading the first book, Full moon. It’s been hilarious so far. With Uncle Gally and Freddie and Blister and Emsworth all together, I can’t stop laughing!
