Uhmm, o.k. I love the Narnia Chronicles, but I had to laugh when the beaver appeared. Being Canadian and all the beaver is overused satirically and lately the cgi or whatever it is they’re using to animate the thing looks like the beaver from Phil the Alien. Otherwise, I liked the movie although it doesn’t hold a candle to the book.

One of my favourite fiction reads in about the last six years. I didn’t care about the controversy about plagiarism blah, blah blah. It was such a thrilling ride.

The extra documentary by the film makers on the bonus track is even better than the release although I though the Movie was fascinating it doesn’t quite capture the thrill that the behind the scenes does.

Well, season 4 is beginning for me but I’m taking it a little slower this time around. The first three seasons my wife and I consumed the 24 hours in a week. We were very wired after that. I’m getting this season through our public library and there is a huge waiting list so an exercise in patience and timing. Timing is everything! the first four episodes were pretty much what you come to expect from Jack Bauer, total terroism and adrenalin and don’t forget to throw in a few messy, messy relationships.

Half way through this. Not quite what I was expecting with more emphasis on the translation rather than the teaching. Interesting though as I have this experience with Christianity and Biblical Archeology and exegisis but not with Eastern Texts.

An excellent soundtrack although I didn’t love the movie.
