Once is a very charming movie. There are too many films out there nowadays that try to be “faux-bohemian or alternative”. This is not one of them. It is a very poetic movie that tells the story of two people meeting in Dublin and how they come together to make music. It is a wonderful film that I highly recommend.

Great new contemporary showtune-inspired CD with wonderful performances. You will definitely be hearing the name “Scott Alan” in the future again soon.

Yummm… I love this. It’s incredibly tasty.

Mango is probably my favorite fruit. When it first entered my mouth, it was so soft and sweet. Also, for some odd reason, it tasted like marshmallow to me. Dunno about that.

Eat some ripe mango when it’s in season and you will be in heaven.

This book is incredible. It goes way beyond its shallow exposition of the disillusionment of the 1920s and reads like a fantastic piece of music. This book speaks about the follies of mankind (Gatsby) and what happens if you live only for riches and self-involvement. The story is incredible. Read it to understand!

I’m also glad that I had my English teacher guiding us through the book because I’m under the impression that this book is often misunderstood. Our teacher taught us the true underlying commentary in what Fitzgerald wrote. A “sparknotes” understanding of the book is simply not enough. Now, it’s one of my favorites.

Any movie with “The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” in the title is going to be great. The entire movie is cheesy, hilarious, and insane. It’s everything you’d expect from a movie starring Will Ferrel and made by the same people as “Anchorman.” Oh yes, the knife scene was making me roll around in my chair, as well as the out-takes.

Who knew that John C. Reilly is such a good comedic actor?

Ben Folds = one of the greatest piano players of our time. His songs speak to the average person and he also has a fun quirky side that’s always interesting to listen to.

This guy is a non-stop wonder.
