I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I first read it over the summer before my freshman (hs) year as an honors english assignment. This was my favorite out of the 3 books we had to reveiw, in fact, it was my favorite that entire year with the exception of Catch 22. I love it soo much. It broadened my point of view SOOO much from being an American girl born and bred in the city with that as pretty much my only life experience. I saw what it was like to live in South Africa from the eyes of someone who did. It was amazing, and I could apply some of the things I saw to my own life, even moreso now that I really understand more of the content. Really, it is a GREAT book and I highly recommend it.

These are some of my all-time favorite stories, even years after reading them the first time. They are filled with unforgettable characters. I wouldn’t say all of the books in the series are worth re-reading, but they are all definitely worth at least one time through. I will never ever ever forget Reepicheep, Tumnus, Aslan (obviously), and all the other characters in these stories. In fact, as my young family members keep growing up, I give them copies of the series at Christmas, which is when my aunt first bought me the books.
