When I first saw this advertised I assumed it was another james bond crime, danger, and glamour film.

In reality, this is a sort of modern version of To Catch a Thief, with a touch of cynical humour added and a lot of Salma Hayek in underwear (I’ll leave it to you to decide if this is a good or bad thing! :-O ).

If you like the structure of old classic films, I think you’ll like this, because to me, it had that kind of ‘feel’, rather than an all action and car chase variety we’re used to.

Even though i saw this film in French, a language i don’t understand at all, it really moved me simply through the emotions emanating from Juliette Binoche, as well as the use of color, sound and light to convey her feelings. This is a very touching, moving film. I need to see it again, because i feel i only skimmed the surface of something beautiful.
