I have seen this movie long time ago, and I forgot how I loved George Scott performance. You have to see it just for it.

This is one of the best movie that I have ever seen. I have to admit, I never finish it. I just could not. Based on the true events, it’s a heart braking story of a brother and little sister. Maybe because it’s an animation, it has qualities which would be impossible to capture or deliver by real actors.
For the last 12 – 13 years this has been a great bi-weekly magazine summarizing world politics for me. Definitely on a conservative side, which from time to time gets old for me, but nevertheless very factual. I have to say that during the war in Iraq I had to drop it for a while. It was just to propagandistic and predictable for my taste. Anyway, I am back with it for now.
Very early Milos Forman’s 1964. Not bad, (I like pretty much everything done by him), but I have some reservations. A lot of scenes were real shots of real folks going about their life as usually. I liked that a lot. The main actor playing Peter did and excellent job. At the end the movie somehow felt just raw and unfinished.
Not bad, but not near enough to its original from 1966.
This is a great classic. If you expect to see the easy going, light hearted comedy as in remake of 2004 with Jude Law you would be surprised. This movie deals with some issues that you ordinary do not see in movie of this genre.
