I like the ‘non-rain-man’ approach in this movie. Ben’s very good in gaming, but he is not the autist with exceptional skills. The movie focuses on his point of view with some insight in his “strange” logic and way of observing the world around him.
The game-controls as an overlay of his view shows his feelings and thoughts. More and more you get sympathy for his ‘normal’ ways of doing things, and more and more you see how ‘strange’ normal people are..
