When I picked up my copy of “Sharp Teeth” from the public library, I was expecting something completely different. Los Angeles. Gang violence. Werewolves. And while I got all three, I was completely blown away by Barlow’s method of storytelling. I don’t want to spoil anything or say something that might lead people to steer clear of this book, so I won’t go into details—but I’ve never quite seen anything like it.
