WORTH CONSUMING!

I picked this up at the library just cuz the spine of the book called out to me from the shelf. Turns out it was an thoroughly engaging and fascinating read. The main character is so absorbing and interesting, and the details of the period are so neatly wrapped into the story, it’s an excellent piece of writing. I strongly recommend it.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I wish I could find more books by Jen Banbury. This book was dark, thrilling, funny, gross, real, exciting… all the right things all at the right times. It’s on my bookshelf and I read it every year or so, it’s that good.

WORTH CONSUMING!

The first Palahniuk book I’ve read so far. Clever, witty, scary and very very good. Looking forward to reading more of his stuff.

WORTH CONSUMING!

An interesting glimpse at the torrid explorations (or is it exploitation?) of a privileged college girl just a few decades back. Satisfactorily dark and moody.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I think Angela Knight does a great job of balancing believable-yet-steamy-hot-sex with a great, solid fantasy plotline. I am looking forward to the next book in the series, mostly for the cool storyline—the hot erotica is just very tasty icing on the cake. ;)

WORTH CONSUMING!

I don’t know what it is about this series, there is nothing I can think of in its storyline or characters that explains it, but each and every one of these books has been so engaging that I cannot stop reading them. Even when it is already 1am and I have to get up at 6:30am, I cannot convince myself that putting the book down and picking it back up later is an option. I wish I could figure out why—they’re great books, but I can’t quite pinpoint why I get so sucked into them!
