I’m in the middle of listening to the audiobook of this and I am in love! When it started, I had doubts, but now, in the midst of it, I am pretty much just in awe of the language and the writing. I think, too, it has to do with Brendan Fraser’s performance, but whatever it is, I can’t even imagine reading this book instead of listening to it. Being a librarian, I love to read and only “found” my love of audiobooks a year ago. Since then, audiobooks have been my constant companion on my commutes and I can’t see myself living without them. However, if I’m listening to a great audiobook and then get home and want to read, I find myself wanting if I don’t have just as good a book that I am reading. So anyway, my point is that I am truly enjoying this audiobook and hopefully, when I finish, I’ll want to buy the book for the school library, though I’m sure I’ll wish I could get an audiobook collection growing and include it in there. :)

ran across this while we were re-scanning the paperbacks during inventory. seemed like perfect timing…

still haven’t actually finished it, but also not currently working on it. been busy reading other books that when i go to the bookstore, i don’t pick it up. i definitely enjoyed it thus far and look forward to finishing it… one of these days.

well, i haven’t technically finished it, but i’m also not currently working on it, either. figure i better lay it rest so i don’t keep feeling guilty. ;)

i began this when i had it checked out from the library, but i didn’t start until after it was overdue. i returned it a day late and now read when hanging out in bookstores with trevor. one day i’ll finish it…

i’m still in shock and am still in a state of mourning and feel like my life will never be the same. oh my… i don’t know how i’m going to be able to wait two years for the conclusion. so many questions…

me being who i am in that i can’t say a movie wasn’t worth seeing if i enjoyed in the least… well, i couldn’t put that it wasn’t worth consuming. on the other hand, i’m glad i didn’t pay money to see it and it’s not on any lists of fav movies.

never could get into this… and don’t even think i got too far. perhaps this summer i’ll try again. on the other hand, i’m doubting it. so many other things to “consume!”

I’ve heard this series mentioned so often in my school media classes. Of course, I didn’t realize it was as good as it is!! I was so enthralled – I read the first book in a day, went to the library and read the second book the second day, then on the third day, went to the library for the third book and finished it just three days later. Amazing, gripping, and definitely not an easy series to accurately predict what’s going to happen next!

i heart sark! this is the most recent book of hers that i’ve read and i can’t wait to get my hands on all of her others. unfortunately, my local library system only has four different titles and i’ve now read them all. time for ILL!
