Why I recommend "A Champion's Mind: Lessons from a Life in Tennis" — 12 weeks ago
WORTH CONSUMING!
If you are a tennis fan, then this book is a must for you. I’ve never been much of a Pete Sampras fan. Something about someone so consistently good just makes me less likely to cheer for them, but he does an excellent job of explaining how he was so dominant. I’ve always rooted more for guys like Andre Agassi who had an up and down career but was a great player. This book made Pete Sampras seem more human and likeable even though most of it doesn’t delve much into his life outside of tennis. But it definitely upholds the idea that nice guys can finish first.
