This book wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be, but worth the read. One of my favorite quotes from it is “Who are you when you aren’t working?”
The Women of the Passion — 35 weeks agoThis book was OK but not as ‘inspiring’ as I thought it would be. It was an interesting read that was divided up into one chapter per woman or group of women, most of which are mentioned maybe once or twice in the New Testament. It was interesting to meditate on the roles of these women, and the relationship they had with Jesus. I didn’t care much for the reflections at the end of each chapter, however, as I felt it detracted too much from the main story. All in all a worthwhile read, but not one I will be putting on my absolute favorites list.
