A story about "Michael Clayton (Widescreen Edition)" — 33 weeks ago
it’s not that this movie wasn’t worth consuming, it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

i decided that the leader of the infected was so angry because the girl will smith’s character caught was his girl. don’t know if it was true or not but i decided it was. i liked how they started to learn.
this didn’t let me down. i love girls who can kick ass and alice does not disappoint. it took awhile to explain how the third installment connected with the second, but once it did i found the movie a lot less annoying.
i liked this. i completely bought russell crowe as a cowboy and loved ben foster’s character. good gunslinging, shoot-em up movie i can watch with my dad over and over.
i thought this movie was cheesy and at times down-right childish- pretty girl strokes a sword long enough: it will produce liquid. i felt like i was watching a video game without getting the chance to play.
i’m a fan of jason statham. you’re usually guaranteed an action-packed movie w/plenty of fight scenes. there are some good fight scenes in war, however, i was not loving this movie. kind of dragged on and it might of been my t.v., but i found it hard to read the subtitles.
oh homer, you’re words of wisdom are great :
any more than 2 shakes and your playing w/yourself.
i loved it! i keep searching for someone at work that watched farscape/seen the peacekeeper wars but to no avail. i so want to talk about this with someone. i loved how everything was tied up. there was ample action and i thought the connection between aeryun and chricton was better than ever. major characters die, which made me cry, then feel silly for crying. scorpius was wonderful as usual and the scarrans still give me the creeps. a must-see for anyone who even remotely enjoyed the series. now to convert dollars to pounds so i can get the complete series box set.
nature’s promise is stop and shop’s organic line. i am fond of organic products, but am only so-so w/this brand. however i found this in the markdown section for $1.85. i like pomegranate juice and cranberry juice and for under 2 bucks how can you go wrong?
having read the book i was looking forward to this movie. i missed it when it was in theatres and rented it the day it came out. the movie followed the book remarkably well, which is always a pleasant surprise. the one thing that i did find was drastically different was that in the book christopher mccandless does not know he has eaten the poisonous plant instead of the edible. therefore not realizing he is going to die. heart wrenching story, yet also inspiring. here was an intelligent, young man who defied everyone around him and went out and did what he wanted to do. in doing so he found the family unit he seemed to seek. i thought emile hirsch did a wonderful job portraying mccandless, in both appearance and what i can only assume was his free-spirit, independent, adventurous, personality. i can’t help feeling that although scared mccandless died doing something he loved and was at peace.
this is absolutely worth consuming. it’s a beautiful love story. i was delighted throughout. the scenery was gorgeous. the costumes were wonderful. the woman beautiful, and yes macfadyen is no firth but he was marvelous. i have not read the novel so was completely unaware of what was going to happen. watching this, at first, i did not like mr. darcy. i felt he was arrogant and proud. i could not understand how everyone wanted their own mr. darcy only to fall madly in love with him by the end. it reminds me of a time where manners,(a thing i love), were so important. the love story is lovely but i was more intrigued by the relationships within the family, especially with all the sisters. to me, the family dynamic was the most enjoyable. it was magical, i wanted to disappear into this fairy tale.
i wasn’t crazy about this in the beginning. it was a little too peachy for me, but all of a sudden it was gone. :)
