A story about "The Dunwich horror and others" — 17 weeks ago
i had kept reading about lovecraft in numerous dean koontz books so finally broke down and rented this book from the lib. i had a vague idea of who he was but wasn’t familiar with any of his works. a bonus was he was from rhode island and myself being from massachusetts felt a stronger connection to him. for the time period these stories were great. even for today some still could go head to head with todays macabre writers. compilation book of some of lovecraft’s best known short stories. highly recommend reading the preface. written by a fellow colleague and gives a glimpse of lovecraft as a child- adult. he was interesting and wacky in himself.
